Our Signature Longhorn Belt in Cream
Being from Fort Worth, longhorns are everywhere, so when I sat down to design my first belt, a longhorn head and horns as the buckle just came so naturally to me.The challenge was to design a longhorn head that wasn’t scary or threatening with horns that weren’t pointy. This was more challenging than expected, but I’m proud to say that we’ve achieved this!
The next challenge was which leather colors to pair with the longhorn buckle. Starting with black was the obvious choice, but I knew other color options would have to come next. Brown was the obvious second choice, but I couldn’t get the gold and cream color combo out of my head. I knew that would be a winning combo for spring and summer. Cream belts in general are harder to come by, which has never made sense to me as they tend to pop even more.
